It’s early days but Huddersfield are looking in real danger of relegation. Salford and London have both started well, Leeds and Wigan will both pick up wins through the season, who do you think will finish bottom?

So what was his excuse this week? Upset stomach? I have never known a player with no known injury suddenly not appear for a match as often as Gaskell has, i can think of at least 4 occasions when he has missed games despite no mention of an injury and being named in the matchday squad. Totally throws your preparation into the air when a half back withdraws at the last minute.

Without going over the top I can’t help feeling we have been here before in 2006. WCC has gone, you can no doubt write off the League Leaders shield even at this point in the season. Top five playoffs? We look way off that at the moment.

We are very beatable at the moment, yet again the half time team talk had no effect and we concede straight after.

It’s going to be a long season.

My two friends didn’t renew their season tickets last year because of the style of rugby that Shaun Wane coached. They didn’t think that winning trophies was the be and end all.
Even though we have a new coach this year in Lam, they are still staying away.
Unfortunately, once fans are lost it’s difficult to get them back again.
Sadly, we have lost about 4,000 fans in the past few years.

There were plenty of empty seats in the Carnegie , and there will be plenty more as the season goes on if pricing stays the same and we get similar performances on the field .
