I've got 2 spare tickets (seated) for LG in Manchester on Saturday night - happy to pass on for face value if anyone is interested; that's £62.50 apiece.

The very fact that a major club (HKR) is possibly threatened by relegation should they lose on Saturday is total nonsense. The English run SL could easily have 2 `foreign` clubs next season at the expense of 2 major clubs.
We are shooting ourselves in the foot.
The ONLY way I would go along with either Catalan or Toronto being involved would be to increase the size of SL to accommodate. We must not dilute our wonderful... Читать дальше...

It's not this week that concerns me it's the Hull game on the Thursday after the final. Win or lose at Wembley the coaches will have a huge task to get the players up/down with a five day turnaround never mind the fatigue factor. Our skinny squad will definitely be tested that week.

Ok Him, I am aware of all Clubs in the NRL but due to not currently having Sky or much free time I can't follow it yet ! What I need to know is this, how if their are 16 NRL Clubs can they have 22 weekly rounds ? Surely you play the 15 other Clubs H/A giving 30 rounds + Play offs ? I will take SOO out of the equation.
Explain to none followers please !

Right centres for the clubs you name last weekend:
Wigan - Willie Isa
Leeds - Jimmy Keinhorst
St Helens - Elvis Costello
Now, we can have a healthy debate about whether King is better than all of those three (I would say he was), but to say you 'could never imagine' him getting past any of those three suggests a pretty deep seated personal beef.
a) Crowd (Mend A Hose Jungle, Capacity 11,775): 8,394
b) Score and Winning team: Castleford 12 v 22 Warrington
c) First try (Wire player): Mitch Brown
d) Time of first try: 14 minutes
e) Last try (any team, player not time): Toby King
f) Kicks over the sticks (combined): 5
g) Wakefield v St Helens: Wakefield by 6
Huddersfield v Hull FC: Huddersfield by 18
Catalans v Wigan: Catalans by 8

I entered a competition sent in an RFL email a couple of weeks ago to win tickets to the challenge cup.
Today I found out surprise surprise I have won tickets.
Am I being cynical here that because sales are going badly they are dishing out lots of free tickets ? I saw that they were also offering £50 tickets on groupon for £15.
Is anyone else on here a lucky winner ?

Nothing to worry about. All is well
Just to let you know that another hooker has become a head coach.
David has become head coach at CQ Capras for the 2019 campaign.
He replaces the current head coach who will be taking over at West Wales Raiders.
David Faiumu - CQ Capras
Best wishes.

as sad as it sounds, but i 100% agree with you wrencat1873. indeed, it is all about money these days and indeed, the player should represent that nation only, but let's face it. this won't happen. at least i've lost my hope.

I think people need to remember that this year was always going to be a transition year, especially losing Gaz and Mahe. Injuries have been unprecedented too so the fact we are still in the top 8 and not fighting it out in the qualifiers is a massive bonus for me. Other teams have certainly got better around us which hasn't helped. Leeds and Wire have both been in the qualifier scrap in recent years so I think we need to be blooming grateful it's not us!
