I was not part of any conspiracy: Cormann
Senior government conservative Mathias Cormann says he was not part of a push to undermine Malcolm Turnbull's prime ministership, despite publicly supporting challenger Peter Dutton. Mr Cormann has told Sky News the instability 'debilitating' the government and a change of leader was necessary. Scott Morrison defeated Peter Dutton 45 to 40 in the Liberal leadership ballot. Mr Cormann says he will unite behind Mr Morrison and denies claims he was part of a 'conspiracy' to oust Peter Dutton. Image: Kym Smith/News Corp Australia
