The UFC will soon be adding a third women's division to its ranks, regardless of whether its biggest star will be joining the fold. UFC president Dana White this week told FOX Sports Australia that the UFC is dead-set on creating a women's 145-pound division in 2017, irrespective of whether Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg is able to compete for the inaugural UFC title.

Does Woodley want people to pay to see HIM, or will he always need someone else to sell his fights?

I get the argument that he wants the "money fights"…but do you think GSP needs a Nick Diaz to sell PPVs? Did Brock need a big money opponent to sell-out arenas in his prime? Either of the Diaz Brothers can probably get 500K buys fighting a paper bag. Conor, GSP, Diaz etc have EARNED the right to call their shot, because they are the ones bringing the eyeballs.

At the UFC 206 Q&A, Anthony Johnson and Stephen Thompson will answer questions from the fans Friday afternoon. The video above will begin at 3 p.m. ET.

TORONTO -- Saturday night will mark Anthony Pettis' 25th professional fight, and for the first time in his career, he'll be competing after missing weight the day before.

The beleaguered card of UFC 206 took another big hit on Friday, as prospective featherweight title challenger Anthony Pettis missed weight by three pounds for his interim championship bout against Max Holloway.

This card was not great to begin with, and it took some crucial hits, making it even worse. This event had a decent light heavyweight bout pitting Gian Villante and Patrick Cummins, but Cummins withdrew from the bout with a nasty staph infection, and was replaced by promotional newcomer Saparbek Safarov. The other bout that drew some interest to the card, was a relevant bantamweight scrap between Aljamain Sterling and Raphael Assunção. TORONTO – Emil Meek will have to make his UFC 206 debut with an altered look.

During the official weigh-ins in Toronto on Friday morning, the Ontario Athletic Commission ordered the Norwegian fighter Meek to cut his trademark beard if he wants to remain on Saturday night’s card against Jordan Mein.

Meek’s camp told MMA Fighting that the explanation given to him was that if they can grab the beard, it’s considered too long.

TORONTO –  Anthony Pettis couldn't make weight on Friday during the UFC 206 official weigh-ins.

At the UFC 206 weigh-ins, all 24 fighters taking part in Saturday night's UFC 206 fights will step on the scale Friday, and we'll have the live video here at MMAFighting.com.

In the main event, Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis will have to make the featherweight limit of 145 pounds.
