Warning: Pampanga River waters fast rising
Project NOAH executive director Mahar Lagmay informed MB Online that Pampanga River is now a meter short of the typhoon “Lando” level of 10.3 meters and is still rising. In Lagmay’s tweet he posted at 12:59 am, he said that the water level in Pampanga River is now 10.04 meters in La Fuente, Nueva Ecija. The peak of the water level was 10.3 meters during Typhoon “Lando”. He warns of landslides like that of Dingalan as well as a flood washout like the Gabaldon incident. Region 3 residents and those who might be affected by the floodwaters are enjoined to monitor the situation in their respective localities and take appropriate action.
