U.S. FDA authorizes second COVID booster dose for people aged 50 and older
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday it has authorized a second booster dose of either the Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for people aged 50 and older. The agency has also authorized a second booster for people aged 12 and older who are immunocompromised and at risk of developing severe illness.
