Treasury yields moved broadly higher Thursday morning as weekly U.S. jobless claims fell and the Bank of England delivered a second consecutive rate increase, marking its first back-to-back rate hikes since 2004.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported on Thursday that domestic natural-gas supplies fell by 268 billion cubic feet for the week ended Jan. 28. That compared with the average decline of 274 billion cubic feet forecast by analysts polled by S&P Global Platts, which pegged the five-year average supply fall for the period at 150 billion cubic feet. U.S. factory orders dipped in December

Amazon.com Inc. disclosed overnight that it beneficially owned a more than 18% stake in electric-vehicle maker Rivian Automotive Inc. , and a more than 5% stake in self-driving software company Aurora Innovation Inc. Amazon said late Wednesday it beneficially owned 162,086,884 shares of Rivian, or 18.1% of the shares outstanding, including a warrant to buy 3,723,050 shares. Outdoor living company Azek Co. Inc. reported fiscal first-quarter net income totaling $16.7 million, or 11 cents per share, up from $10.1 million, or 7 cents per share, last year. Adjusted EPS of 18 cents beat the FactSet consensus for 16 cents. Sales of $259.7 million were up from $212.3 million and ahead of the FactSet consensus for $257.2 million. Stocks opened lower Thursday, with the Nasdaq Composite leading the way lower as shares of the company formerly known as Facebook plunged after delivering a disappointing earnings report. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 219 points, or 0.6%, while the S&P 500 was down 1.5% at 4,518. The Nasdaq Composite slumped 2.3% to 14,086, as shares of Meta Platforms Inc. plunged nearly 26%.

Shake Shack Inc. and DoorDash Inc. have launched a limited-time dating site, Eat Cute, that aims to bring together fans of the burger chain's Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. "Simply upload a selfie, tell us how spicy you like it, and let your passion rage fearlessly for Shake Shack on DoorDash," the announcement said. The site will also include discounts and freebies. Shake Shack stock has tumbled 41.5% over the past year. DoorDash shares are down 42.3%. And the S&P 500 index has gained 20%.

Hain Celestial Group Inc. reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $30.9 million, or 33 cents per share, up from $2.1 million, or 2 cents per share, last year. The euro extended a gain versus the U.S. dollar on Thursday after European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said inflation risks in the eurozone, relative to December, are "tilted to the upside." Lagarde, asked whether she was sticking with her December contention that a 2022 rate increase was unlikely, said that her remarks always come with conditions and said policy makers would make a more detailed assessment of the impact of higher-than-expected inflation at the ECB's March policy meeting. Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves on Wednesday signed a bipartisan measure to legalize medical use of cannabis in the state, marking the 37th in the U.S. to do do. Shares of SOC Telemed Inc. skyrocketed more than four-fold -- up 339.7% -- on heavy volume in premarket trading Thursday, after the telemedicine technology provider announced an agreement to be acquired by Patient Square Capital in a deal that values the company at roughly $304.2 million.
