Back on the board: Surfing allowed again in France under lighter lockdown
Surfers got back on their boards in droves on Saturday (28 November) as coronavirus restrictions eased.
While lockdown is still in effect, from today, shops can open longer and restrictions on daily exercise have been changed.
There will be further changes to the rules in December and January.
Despite the cold, surfers took to the sea in numbers, keen to catch a wave after so long stuck indoors.
