Police in Beech Grove are trying to identify a pair of suspects who attacked and robbed a motel clerk. The incident was caught on surveillance video Sunday morning at the Super 8 Motel on Emerson. Police said a man and woman were trying to check out of their room when they got into an argument with the front desk worker over a cell phone left in the room. A flash flood on Wednesday (July 1) in Atlanta, Georgia caused a Mini Cooper to get stuck as it tried to drive through a flooded street. Up to two inches of rain fell in parts of the Atlanta metro area in a short time and caused streets to flood. The slow-moving storm pattern resulted from heavy rainfall that keeps producing thunderstorms over the same areas.

In 2019, Osuna is suspected of killing his cellmate by beheading him. - "According to the California Department of Corrections, 31-year-old Jaime Osuna is believed to have killed his cellmate, 44-year-old Luis Romero, at Corcoran State Prison on March 9. Romero was found dead in his cell at around 7:30 a.m., after which Osuna was placed in a restricted housing unit."

Dramatic footage shared with the Daily News Wednesday depicts the fateful moment a mentally-ill Queens woman was shot to death by a police officer in 2018 - but the city is pushing back on attempts to release video of the incident in its entirety. Susan Muller, 54, was fatally shot 50 seconds after four NYPD officers responded to a 911 call she made reporting a burglary on Sept. 17, 2018. Hongkongers have taken to the streets to oppose the sweeping national security law imposed in secrecy by the Central Government in Beijing. The law states that subversion of the government can be punishable by life imprisonment, amongst other acts. The footage shows the protesters who are said to be violating the new act running in an attempt to escape the riot police.
