This video shows workers in Vietnam using old tires to avoid damaging a road when moving a crawler excavator. According to one of the workers, mobile cranes are usually used to transport crawler excavators but roads in Yen Bai, Vietnam are too narrow so the workers came up with this ingenious idea to preserve the roads. A lamppost was seen shaking on Colonia Ju'arez in Mexico City as a 7.4 magnitude quake hit the south of the country on Tuesday (June 23). A tsunami threat is in place along the country's southern coast and for Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

A hapless stray dog was rescued after it was impaled at the gate of a house in Chonburi, eastern Thailand.
