In the past two weeks, more than Rs 55 lakh was fraudulently withdrawn from five different ATMs of a nationalised bank in Gurugram, police said.

The curfew in Delhi has impacted attendance in industries of Gurugram as many of the workers living in the capital are finding it difficult to commute in the absence of enough passes. Industry owners said the process of applying for passes was cumbersome and many of them had even asked their workers in Delhi to stay at home.

The Union health ministry’s plans to set up oxygen manufacturing plants in four government-run Covid hospitals in the state by the end of April have been deferred due to a surge in Covid cases across the country. A senior citizen died of Covid-19 alone at his rented home on Tuesday morning.
