Five individuals including an 8-year-old boy were tested positive for novel coronavirus in Mysuru. All five are primary contacts of employees of a pharmaceutical firm in Nanjangud. With this, the tally of Covid-19 positive cases jumped to 40 in the district.

Jalandhar police on Thursday evening booked 60 persons for obstructing the administration from performing the last rites of a person who died of Covid-19.
