Well we're back at home after a few months away from it...

Reading started the season poorly losing their home opener against Sheffield Wednesday, and they seem rather light in some areas. The window closes before this match however so I expect them to rectify this anyway.

Be interesting to see who responds to the opening day defeat..

A fairly important game this one, given its quite possible that we could lose the next three (Chelsea, West Ham (a), Man City). I would be relatively happy with a point, be nice to get off the mark, and I think that’s what will happen. I can see us maybe doing enough to win but Newcastle will get chances and likely score a few IMO, 2-2.

We’re a bit thin on the ground, and have been dealt the blow of Onel Hernandez being out for at least 3 months, potentially most of the season if the ACL...

These are the kinds of games we need to be winning if we are to stay up and have a good season. Unfortunately, Bournemouth are a bloody good side in all honesty. Can see a couple of changes as we continue to blood the new lads in:

Just 2 weeks into the new season and we are already following last season's trend of quick games as game 1 ends after just 2 weeks.

That means we are onto the next game and everyone is back in play, and anyone who didn't participate in game 1 that fancies it is more than welcome.

We are well overdue a result against this lot! Had a lot of bad luck over the years but last season they beat us comfortably both games.

Always think it's better to play the bigger teams at the start before they get into stride...heart says 1-1...head says 3-1 Arsenal.

(Not so) fun fact...Arsenal are the only team in the league that we are yet to beat in our 6 seasons of PL football (except Norwich and Sheff Utd who we haven't played yet)

Guys and gals, I'm just going to run with this and see if we get any interest. I did try to obtain Quirks blessing to run it but he's not responded. Maybe he's not on as much these days and that's why he stopped running this. Seems a shame to stop something that has clearly been a mainstay on the forum though so here goes.
