Woman who flipped off Trump's motorcade wins election in Virginia

A former government contractor in Virginia who famously gave the president's motorcade a one-finger salute won the race Tuesday for a seat on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. Juli Briskman ran as a Democrat and defeated the eight-year Republican incumbent, Suzanne Volpe. CBS News political correspondent Ed O'Keefe joins CBSN's "Red and Blue" with more.

In Boston city and community leaders are engaged in a bold experiment: To use higher education to transform the city's most dangerous neighborhoods. The program "Boston Uncornered" recruits gang members to drop their guns and enroll in college by paying them to do so. Supporters say it costs less than the ongoing cycle of enforcement, incarceration and recidivism, and is also an investment in the community. Dana Jacobson reports.

Pro-Beijing lawmaker stabbed in the chest in Hong Kong

A prominent pro-Beijing lawmaker in Hong Kong was attacked Wednesday by a knife-wielding man while campaigning in the semi-autonomous Chinese city. Video of the incident shows a man handing Junius Ho a bunch of flowers and chatting before pulling out a knife and stabbing him in the chest.

Federal prosecutors in Roger Stone's trial told jurors they plan to call several high-profile witnesses to the stand, including Steve Bannon. Prosecutors revealed new details about Stone's contacts with Trump campaign officials before and after the release of stolen Democratic National Committee emails in 2016, including several phone calls Stone had with then-candidate Donald Trump.
