In Brazil, President Jair Bolsonaro has authorized the military to join the fight, and forces will begin deploying on Saturday. Millions of Americans visit national parks each year. This spring, one of them decided to give back -- although it was something she took in the first place. Rangers at Great Smoky Mountains National Forest received a letter from a visitor named Karina, who wrote that "I loved it so much I wanted to have a soiveneir to come home with me, so I took a rock. Since President Trump decided to walk away from the Iran nuclear deal in May of last year, tensions between the two nations have steadily increased and punishing economic sanctions have been reimposed. But while those sanctions are intended to hurt the Iranian government, everyday people are also paying a price: over the past 12 months, the price of staples like chicken are up by almost 80%, and some life-saving medications have become unavailable. The vaping epidemic may have taken a deadly turn: Illinois is reporting the first possible death in the United States linked to e-cigarette smoking. The death comes as federal health officials are investigating nearly 200 cases of severe lung illnesses among vapers in 22 states – all of which have been reported since June 28. President Trump is in France for the G-7 summit, a meeting with leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom. His arrival comes after China announced retaliatory tariffs on billions of dollars of U.S. goods, and the Dow dropped more than 600 points. President Trump fired back on Twitter by increasing tariffs already placed on China, and tariffs scheduled to be imposed on September 1. Paula Reid reports.

Melanie Zanona of Politico joins "CBS This Morning Saturday" to discuss the upcoming G-7 summit, and why the trade war with China and the threat of a recession may put Trump in a "very sour mood." The Supreme Court said Friday that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg had just completed three weeks of radiation therapy for a cancerous tumor. The tumor was detected on Justice Ginsburg's pancreas during a routine blood test, and a biopsy at the end of July confirmed a localized malignant tumor. The Supreme Court said that after a three-week course of radiation therapy at a New York hospital, "the Justice tolerated treatment well," and "no further treatment is needed at this time."
