After a rough few months, the US dollar has started to bounce back against major currencies.

The dollar index, which tracks the greenback against a basket of currencies, is up about 3% since early May, when it dipped to 92.11.

And the dollar may have more room to go this year and next, as investors factor in a more active Federal Reserve and better-performing economy.

GENEVA (Reuters) - U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's proposal to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is a "kind of propaganda or advertisement" in the election race, a senior North Korean official said on Monday.

Despite rampant discussions in recent weeks among baseball circles, the Los Angeles Angels are not going to trade their young MVP, Mike Trout.

Angels general manager Billy Eppler was a guest on Buster Olney's "Baseball Tonight" podcast and was asked about the rumors and whether or not he and Trout had discussed them. Sports Authority is closing all of its 460 stores. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March and intially only planned on closing 140 stores.

Tesla isn't the only automaker making at-home battery options.

Nissan recently announced its own rechargeable home battery, dubbed xStorage. The battery costs roughly $4,500 for 4.2 kWh of energy storage — which includes the price of installation. For reference, Tesla's Powerwall costs $3,000 for 6.4 kWh of storage, not factoring installation costs.

Nissan's xStorage battery is currently only available in Europe, and there are no plans yet to bring it over to the United States. Читать дальше...

While attending Google's developer conference, I/O, programmer Dan Kim noticed a booth selling a T-shirt with a popular saying: "Eat, sleep, code, repeat."

He was not pleased.

"'Eat, sleep, code, repeat' is such bullsh--," he wrote on Medium.
