With 'Suffs,' Hillary Clinton brings a 'universal' story of women's rights to Broadway
NEW YORK – Hillary Clinton has always been a theater kid at heart.
Growing up outside Chicago, the former secretary of state fondly remembers listening to cast albums of “Camelot” and “West Side Story” on a great, big stereo in the living room with her mother. They watched “Singin’ in the Rain” whenever it was on TV, and in college, she finally caught her first Broadway show.
