Feast Your Eyes On February’s Finest Treasures
HONOURING ASIAN TRADITIONS
Dedicated to the Year of the Rat, Chopard calls on the ancestral Japanese art of Urushi to create the dial of the L.U.C XP Urushi Year of the Rat. Each of the watches in this refined and powerfully symbolic 88-piece limited edition is hand-crafted in 18-carat rose gold. The varnish used in this ancestral art comes from the sap of the Urushi tree. It takes three to five years to age the resin into a highly resistant, honey-textured lacquer, and for the face of this Chopard timepiece, its loyal partner, Yamada Heinado applied the resin in extremely fine successive layers to produce this sought-after watch.
