‘Arrow’-‘The Flash’ Four-Way Crossover Villain Revealed

The villains that the heroes of “Supergirl,” “Arrow,” “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow” will face off in their annual crossover event are the alien race known as the Dominators, the network announced Thursday.

“This year, for our mega ‘Arrowverse’ crossover, we’re taking inspiration from a DC crossover from the late 1980s known as Invasion!, which featured an alien race called the Dominators, who’d previously vexed the Legion of Superheroes,” said executive producer Marc Guggenheim in a statement.

In the comics, the Dominators are an alien race whose caste system is determined by the size of a red dot on each being’s forehead.

Executive producer Greg Berlanti previously revealed that seeds of the four-part crossover will be planted in “Supergirl,” which airs first, on Monday, but things really kick off in “The Flash” and will span all four shows over four nights on the CW.
