Public Disclosure Commission asks AG to act on Tim Eyman’s secret money manipulations
The state Public Disclosure Commission voted unanimously on Thursday to ask Attorney General Bob Ferguson to pursue possible civil and criminal violations by Tim Eyman, after a PDC staff report revealed that the initiative promoter secretly moved hundreds of thousands of dollar between two initiative campaigns, and kept $170,000 for himself. The PDC vote is a sign that alleged offenses by Eyman are not the stuff of a slap-on-the-wrist fine.
