Revealed: Arsenal's Cech, Tottenham's Lloris and Chelsea duo in FIFA 16's top 20 goalkeepers
Arsenal’s Petr Cech, Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris and both of Chelsea’s top two all feature in the top ten of FIFA 16’s list of the world’s best goalkeepers.
The twenty best on the game features six goalkeepers from the Premier League, including four of the top six.
The rankings are once more topped by Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who finished third behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the 2014 Ballon d’Or awards. His rating of 90 makes him by some distance the highest-rated player in his position and the fourth best on the game.
Second to Neuer is David de Gea, still at Manchester United after his move to Real Madrid collapsed in the final hours of the transfer window.
De Gea is then followed by two London goalkeepers, with Chelsea number one Thibaut Courtois just edging out his former colleague Cech to third spot in the rankings.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Bernd Leno rounds off the top five, with Llloris the next highest rated, scoring 84.
The remaining Premier League representatives in the rankings are Joe Hart and Chelsea backup Asmir Begovic, who is rated the 15th best goalkeeper in the world despite being unable to get into Jose Mourinho’s starting XI.
FIFA 16 is due for release on September 22, with the demo version of the game having been released earlier this week.
