England vs Switzerland preview: Tickets, team news, line ups and odds
It's job done for Roy Hodgson's side.
A simple 6-0 victory against San Marino saw England secure their place at Euro 2016 with a flawless record of seven wins from seven at the top of Group E.
Such an impressive set of figures has helped to ease the pain that last summer's World Cup campaign - the worst in the Three Lions' history - caused the nation.
Insipid and ineffective, Steven Gerrard's side limped back from Brazil and the door was finally closed on the fabled Golden Generation.
Roy Hodgson's squad features plenty of new faces and many of them could get an opportunity to impress against Switzerland at Wembley, who will not represent a pushover.
The luxury that England have is to be able to experiment within a competitive environment against solid, if not spectacular, opposition but it will be difficult to draw talk away from the narrative surrounding captain Wayne Rooney, who is on the verge of becoming England's record goalscorer.

England host Switzerland at Wembley on Tuesday September 8. Kick off is scheduled for 19:45.

Only two thirds of tickets for the game have been sold and fans still have time to purchase a ticket from the FA's official website here.
Form and recent encounters
England's form has been unflinching during the qualifying campaign. Hodgson's side have scored 24 goals and conceded just three en route to next year's tournament.
On paper, the results cannot be argued with, but England are still some way short of the lofty expectations that fans demand from them in regards to performances.
In a distinctly average group, England have done well to avoid even a solitary slip up, but doubts will remain when the matter of facing top level opposition comes to the fore in France.
Switzerland, meanwhile, are comfortably in second place, five points ahead of Estonia.
Vladimir Petkovic's side will be keen to give a good account of themselves given how ordinary England made them look throughout 2-0 victory in Basel last October courtesy of a Danny Welbeck brace.
Yet defeat could leave the Swiss looking nervously over their shoulders if other results do not go their way on Tuesday night.
Team News
Michael Carrick has had to withdraw from England's squad with a calf injury. The Manchester United midfielder is now a doubt for the Red Devils' clash against Liverpool on Saturday.
The 34-year-old represents the only injury concern for the hosts and Carrick's absence could give Jonjo Shelvey an opportunity to build on his impressive performance against San Marino in a holding role.
It is difficult to predict the remainder of Hodgson's side; he could opt to blood the younger members of his side further, but may yet be keen to put his former employers to the sword.
Wayne Rooney, who needs one goal to break Sir Bobby Charlton's goal scoring record, is expected to start in attack.
Switzerland's star man is Xherdan Shaqiri and the visitors will arrive full of confidence given that they secured a 3-2 victory over Slovenia at the weekend, with all of their goals arriving in the last 10 minutes.
