Here, devotees offer onions, pulses to deities
The sky-rocketing prices of onions across the country may have forced the commodity to vanish from the kitchen shelves but you can find quintals of them at two temples in Gogamedi village of Hanumangarh district. Onions and pulses are offered at the temples of Gogaji and Guru Gorakhnathji (folk deities) in this village on the eighth day of Bhadra month (according to Hindu calendar). This continues till Janmasthmi.
