Enrique Ponce, a la prensa del corazón: «Menudo verano me habéis dado»

La presentación este martes en Madrid del mano a mano que el próximo día 29 de mayo protagonizarán en la plaza de Navalcarnero los diestros Enrique Ponce y Gonzalo Caballero fue un acontecimiento social-taurino que sirvió para que los dos toreros pudieran hablar de su profesión y las problemas que atraviesan y también para el debut de Ponce ante los medios de comunicación del corazón después del bombazo mediático que supuso su ruptura matrimonial con Paloma Cuevas y su relación sentimental con su novia Ana Soria. Tajante y cortando la posibilidad de más cuestiones, el valenciano no podía ocultar su malestar y eso que llevaba mascarilla y de ahí que, minutos más tarde, al encontrarse de nuevo rodeado de prensa, soltara un «me habéis dado el verano. Quiero que me dejéis vivir en paz», pedía al no entender que los medios quisieran saber más sobre su historia de amor. Es verdad que desde su ruptura matrimonial con Paloma Cuevas, el diestro no ha dado entrevistas fuera del mundo taurino ni se ha prestado a desmentir o confirmar noticias salvo en los primeros momentos de su final con Paloma. Otra cosa ha sido su imparable actividad en redes sociales donde ha protagonizado momentos muy divertidos junto a su novia incluso apuntándose a la moda del TikTok o brindando con tequila junto a su casi suegro. Por eso se podía pensar que Ponce hubiera podido «torear» a la prensa con la misma elegancia que demuestra en los ruedos. Ponce y Caballero, dos generaciones de toreros pero con un mismo objetivo, hablaron y demostraron que el miedo existe, que el peligro es real y que la vida para ellos sigue siendo vestirse de luces y dar lo mejor de sí. «Siempre sales con la ilusión de hacer la mejor faena de tu vida», dijo Ponce. Este martes tuvo la ocasión de salir por la puerta grande ante los medios del corazón pero prefirió hacer una «espantá» en lo que espera sea un punto y final.
