• A Saudi journalist is dead, and Turkish authorities believe he was killed in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul. Saudi officials said on Friday, October 19 that Khashoggi died as a result of an altercation inside the consulate.
• The journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, 59, who was often critical of the Saudi government, entered the consulate on October 2. He had not been seen publicly since then.

Sinsheim-Reihen. (cbe/pol) Große Unruhe herrschte am Freitagnachmittag in Reihen: Ein Mann hatte gegen 15.10 Uhr die Sparkasse überfallen und flüchtete mit einem Geldbetrag in unbekannter Höhe. Mit einem Großaufgebot suchte die Polizei nach dem Täter. Bislang konnte dieser allerdings nicht gefasst werden.

Sinsheim-Reihen. (pol/rl) Mit allen verfügbaren Kräften fahndet die Polizei derzeit nach einem Bankräuber. Dieser hat am Freitagnachmittag kurz nach 15 Uhr die Sparkassenfiliale in der Weilerer Straße in Reihen überfallen. Noch ist unklar wie der Überfall ablief oder wie hoch die Beute ist.

Mehrere maskierte Männer haben am Freitagmorgen einen Geldtransporter überfallen und sind daraufhin vom Tatort geflohen. Dabei sollen sie den Polizeiwagen beschossen haben, der sie verfolgte. Dies meldet „Focus Online“.
