ALTAMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Indian Ladder Farm in Altamont, is set to open on March 7. Maple Fest will be held during opening weekend and Baby Animal Days will be returning for its 29th year on March 29.
Maple Fest will take place on March 9 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event features vendors, live music, specialty drinks, educational programming, performances, hikes, and all things maple.
On March 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Collar City Mushrooms will be hosting a Mushroom Dinner in the Tasting Room. The full menu and tickets are available on the Eventbrite website. On March 17, Indian Ladder Farms Cidery & Brewery will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
Baby Animal Days kick-off on March 29 where attendees can check out the Baby Animal Barn, Goat Playground, Arts & Crafts Tent, and the Chicken Cafe. New this year, children can hang out with lambs in Lamb Land.
The "Name That Baby" contest is also returning this year with submissions being accepted until April 6. Winners will be announced on April 7 at 11 a.m.
Indian Ladder Farms will have its annual Easter Egg Hunts for children on March 30 and 31 from 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. New this year, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for adults on March 30 at 4 p.m.
The Indian Ladder Farms Farm Store will reopen on March 7 starting at 9 a.m. The farm is located at 342 Altamont Road in Altamont.
