Stand-off between police and woman in a ‘military-style vehicle’
A woman was arrested after assaulting a police officer and a man was arrested for a public order offence.

A woman ‘locked herself inside a military-style vehicle’ to try and stop police recovering it, according to reports.
A stand-off allegedly ensued when officers tried to remove the vehicle in Caernarfon, Wales on Thursday.
A woman was arrested after assaulting a police officer and a man was arrested for a public order offence.
One onlooker, who declined to be named, claimed to see ‘a lot of commotion around the van’ while walking home.
Speaking to Daily Post Wales, they said: ‘I walk up and down Pool Street to and from work every day and I know the van has been there since at least Monday
‘I could hear a woman’s voice shouting hysterically inside the living compartment while a crowd – including some police officers in face masks – had gathered outside.

‘As I was passing, I saw someone pull up in an unmarked vehicle and begin to suit up in riot gear – he was putting on something to protect his neck and it looked like he has some sort of a riot shield. It caused quite a commotion on the street.’
A police spokesman said they were ‘dealing with the removal of a vehicle’ from the road.
A later statement read: ‘Officers attended an uninsured vehicle in Pool Street Caernarfon, and whilst attempting to effect its removal, a woman was arrested for assaulting a police officer and a man was arrested for a public order offence.’
