What time is Snowpiercer on Netflix?
Strangely for Netflix this show won’t be all released at once which might be sad news for bingers.
Instead the first two episodes are available now, with a new episode added every Monday, so it will take 8 weeks for all episodes to be live.
The third episode will be added on Monday June 1.
There will be a second series in the future it has been confirmed.
What is it about?
The series is based on a graphic novel that has also been adapted for the big screen, but this series will differ to the 2013 film.
The graphic novel the story originates from became a 4 part series and was created by Jacques Lob.
It’s about a dystopian world in which humans are facing an ice age and they are forced to live on a train made up of 1,001 cars that continually drives around the world.
The conditions across the train vary between first class and lower class passengers.
Jennifer Connelly stars as one of the main characters[/caption]Unlike the film, there will be extra characters added in this series along with longer story-lines.
The Netflix description says: “1,001 cars long, the Snowpiercer circles the globe endlessly, divided into classes, with the rich elites up front and impoverished ‘tailies’ in the back.
“Snowpiercer tells the story of what happens when those who have been oppressed their whole lives decide to resist, rise up, and revolt.”
The show focuses heavily on the class differences between those at the front and back of the train.
