DEAR DEIDRE: I SAW a text on my husband’s phone that he’d sent to a girl we know.
It said: “I love you and miss you.” She is only 23 and her dad is his colleague.
I’m 48 and he’s 49. We were on our way back from a holiday in the Canaries.
It was a wonderful break and it had made me feel as though we were a couple again.
I played a game on his phone on the flight home and clicked on the text by mistake.
I asked him about it the next day but he said it meant nothing. I thought, “Yeah, right!” It didn’t mean nothing to me.

DEIDRE SAYS: Tell him he can’t just sweep this under the carpet.
You need to know what there is between him and his colleague’s daughter.
If he wants your relationship to survive he has to convince you he is genuinely sorry and make you feel loved and desired.
