SKY SPORTS TV fans thought they had the best view of England’s clash with Holland until a stray bird had them off their sofas in fury.
Gareth Southgate unveiled a changed XI for the Nations League semi-final and some supporters felt the bird had a “better first half than Fabian Delph.”
Marcus Rashford gave England the lead on the half-hour mark from the penalty spot after Matthijs De Ligt tripped the Manchester United striker.
Yet fans would have been lucky to kept their focus on the match, with a flock of stray black birds continuing to fly across the screen.
And viewers took to social media following the constant disturbance to the game, fuming at how ‘annoying’ it was to watch.
One fan said: “That bird that keeps flying past the screen had a better 1st half than fabian delph”, while another wrote: “Can somebody please shoot that ruddy bird.”
User Matt Tyler tweeted: “I keep thinking that the black bird flying about in front of the camera is a massive fly in my front room”.
A fellow supported added: “Spring watch should have just filmed the England match with the amount of birds around”.
