I’m A Celebrity winner Scarlett Moffatt is going to live in Namibia for C4 social experiment
THREE years after being crowned Queen of the Jungle, intrepid Scarlett Moffatt is heading back into the unknown.
The reality star will be going to live in a village in Namibia as part of a new social experiment show on Channel 4.
But at least Scarlett will get to keep her home comforts this time — she will stay in a brick house equipped with all mod cons, built among the locals’ humble huts.
In the series, which hopes to educate viewers on different cultures, Scarlett will be joined by some of her family, who appeared alongside her on Gogglebox, where she first made her name.
A TV insider said: “This is going to be an amazing, eye-opening and emotional adventure for Scarlett and her loved ones. As a girl from Durham who got famous without even having to leave her sofa, she’s about to get a massive culture shock.
“With the realities of life in Namibia in Southern Africa right outside her window, Scarlett is guaranteed to come away with an appreciation for a totally different way of life.
“The locals too will discover just how privileged many of us are in First World countries like the UK.”
Scarlett teased her project earlier this month, telling fans on Instagram: “Omg I can not wait to tell you all what I’m about to do it’s INSANE.”
The new show will be her first with parents Betty and Mark since the family were dropped from Gogglebox in 2017 — reportedly due to Scarlett’s celebrity status.
However, she will have to leave behind new policeman boyfriend Scott Dobinson for her African experience.
I can only imagine what she’ll bring him back as a souvenir.

Taylor goes on a trip
TAYLOR Swift wore what I imagine is the clothes version of a psychedelic trip for her latest show.
The rainbow get-up she sported at the iHeartRadio Wango Tango concert in California was to celebrate the start of LGBT Pride Month.
The Me! singer went a step further to show her support for the LGBT community.
Normally quiet when it comes to political views, she sent a letter to her Tennessee senator urging him to vote for the Equality Act and put it on her Insta.
It aims to protect LGBT people from discrimination in their workplaces, houses, and public places.
Miracle return
IT’S been seven years since Labrinth released solo material so his new single has a rather apt name.
Miracle will be released on Friday along with a video and by the looks of the single cover, which seems to be a man with fur for skin wearing a variety of gold and silver chains, it’s going to be quirky to say the least.
The last time we heard the singer-songwriter’s solo music was in 2012 when he released platinum-selling album Electronic Earth.
Labrinth, who is signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label, said: “Miracle is a call to all people that wish to be their true selves. It’s the dream I’ve always wanted to realise and am still realising everyday. Miracle is my triumph symphony.”
It’s good to have him back.
Yello there, Rihanna!
I DON’T think I’ll ever be sick of the sight of Rihanna in lingerie.
A swift look at her Instagram account shows she often treats her 71.6million followers to scantily clad pictures.
Her latest was this yellow outfit from her Savage X Fenty range, showing off her sensational body.
She also gave fans an insight into the making of her latest album with a video of her, well, not doing much in a studio.
At least she’s keeping us entertained while we wait for the music.

US country-pop singer Maren Morris closed the European leg of her Girl tour at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday with guest Niall Horan. He joined her for their joint effort Seeing Blind, which featured on his 2017 album, Flicker.
BTS at Wembley review
I sent my reporter Howell Davies to Wembley for the first of BTS’ shows there on Saturday. Here’s his take on it…
“The South Korean boyband are soaring to new heights — literally — with band member Jungkook ziplining over the crowd.
“BTS are a sensation and they’ve created a concert which is a real spectacle.
“Countless costume changes, lasers, 30 backing dancers, fireworks and even a bouncy castle made it a feast for the eyes – even if the deafening screams from fans didn’t make it such a treat for the ears.
“One Direction, eat your heart out.”

Beyonce is Gala’s mane attraction
BEYONCE is already queen of pop – and now she’s king of the jungle.
She dressed as a lion at the Wearable Art Gala in LA ahead of the release of the live action version of The Lion King in which she voices the character of Nala.
Beyonce also shared an Instagram video of her daughter Blue Ivy singing The Circle Of Life from the 1994 original.
Her Destiny’s Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams attended the gala. I don’t know if I could contain myself if the trio reunited in the same year as The Lion King.
Trying to live forever, Noel?
HE spent over a decade boozing, doing drugs and getting into scrapes with the law while he was in Oasis.
But it seems Noel Gallagher has well and truly ditched his wild rock ’n’ roll ways.
His daughter Anais says her dad is always keen to get an early night and is obsessed with folding his clothes, keeping his tour bus tidy and eating properly.
She said: “He’s obviously mellowed out now – he’s not like, ‘Yeah let’s have a mad one tonight’. He’s like, ‘Make sure we have an early night and eat your vegetables’. He got really stressed out about me walking in a city on my own and I think the amount of stuff you must have done in your life, and he’s like getting stressed about me taking a walk in a European city.”
Despite this, Anais says she still struggles to shake her dad’s hellraiser image – and has even been turned down from renting somewhere to live because of it.
She added: “I’ve not got apartments that I’ve tried to rent because clearly the landlords think I’m going to have mad ones every night.
“My boyfriend’s family asked if I drunk a lot and did drugs. They just assume I’m going to be crazy.
“I don’t drink, which freaks people out as well.”
Uncle Liam would be horrified.

Westlife knees-up
WESTLIFE celebrated Mark Feehily and fiance Cailean O’Neil’s recent baby news with a good old-fashioned Irish knees up.
They partied until 4am in Glasgow’s The Corinthia Club where they drank pink champagne and played poker in the casino. The lads are currently on tour in Scotland.
Mark, who shared of an ultrasound snap earlier this week, was also celebrating his 39th birthday with bandmates Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan.
A band source said: “Mark and Cailean are over the moon to be having a baby together. The band joined in and all had sore heads next day.”
