Oyedepo says terrorism appeared to be driving Nigeria back
The founder of Living Faith Church popularly known as Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo declared that Nigeria needs true change to develop. He said insecurity and terrorism appeared to be driving the country back into the precipice.

The founder of Living Faith Church popularly known as Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo has declared that Nigeria needs true change to develop.
The Nation reports Oyedepo said insecurity and terrorism appeared to be driving the country back into the precipice.
The cleric spoke at the institution’s 12th inaugural lecture delivered yesterday by former deputy vice chancellor Taiwo Abioye. The theme was: ''The synergy between language, discourse and the media in the construction of realities.''

Oyedepo said: ''Nigeria needs a true change now. Events in the recent past show we are find behind from where we used to be
''You get to certain government cirlcles ; and you don’t understand them because they have turned their own language into official language so much that you simply start looking.
''People simply nod their heads when you are speaking but they don’t understand what you are saying. That shows we’re beginning to do exactly the opposite.

''Nigeria needs to know that the more enlightened the people; the more contributive they become; the more enlightened the people; the more solutions they provide and the more enlightened the people, the more the nation moves forward.
''Nothing empowers like knowledge. The less investment a nation makes into education; the more problem they create. The more enlightened a country is, the more advance it is.
''There is a misplaced priority on the part of our government. They will rather put N50 billion on local government election that is already pre-meditated than put 10 billion into education.''
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that Bishop Oyedepo in his New Year message entitled, “Heralding the New Dawn of the Church” said there shall be waves of strange handing over across the nations of the earth.
The popular Bishop called on Nigerian Christians to be serious with God as multitudes will run to the church for solutions in 2018.
