The Cincinnati Reds optioned struggling right fielder Noelvi Marte to Triple-A Louisville after Sunday's 9-6 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.
Marte went 0-for-4 on Sunday and is batting just .138 (4-for-29) with no extra-base hits, no RBIs and 10 strikeouts in 11 games this season.
