A tearful Jeremy Lin says free agency has him at 'rock bottom'
Jeremy Lin says he feels the NBA has given up on him.
Jeremy Lin was in tears over the weekend while reflecting upon the state of his career. Lin is currently a free agent, with little interest from NBA teams. So the guard provided a pained description of how he’s feeling about the process.
“In English, there’s a saying, and it says, ‘Once you’ve hit rock bottom, the only way is up,'” <a href=" He played 74 games and started just four for the Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors during the 2018-19 regular season. He averaged 9.6 points per game, 3.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game. He also shot 44% from the field and 29.4% from the 3-point line. In the playoffs, Lin made an appearance in just eight games and averaged 3.4 minutes per game. The days of "Linsanity," which started when he broke out with the New York Knicks in 2011, are no more. He may have to resort to playing abroad, as CSKA Moscow is interested in Lin, per Sportando. Perhaps he can reignite his career in Russia.
