FTSE LIVE: Footsie stays weak after late reversal by US stocks and with Asian markets volatile on China concerns
By mid morning, the FTSE 100 index was 76.3 points, or 1.3 per cent lower at 6,005.1, just clinging on to the psychologically important 6,000 level.
