‘What’s wrong with you?’ Tamara Ecclestone brutally mum-shamed for dressing daughter Fifi, 10, like a ‘mini adult’
TAMARA Ecclestone has been brutally mum-shamed after sharing pictures of daughter Fifi dressed like a “mini adult”.
The Formula 1 heiress had taken to Instagram to share pictures of the 10-year-old and her friend.
The snaps showed the pair with their hair and make-up done, and they appeared to be heading somewhere exciting, judging by the pink limo they were posing in front of.
They also swapped their casual outfits for something a bit dressier, with Fifi in a pleated black miniskirt and printed T-shirt, with what looked like heeled loafers.
She also appeared to be wearing false nails.
Her friend, meanwhile, was wearing a silk halterneck top and black maxi skirt.
However, people in the comments section were quick to slam Tamara, for the amount of make-up Fifi was wearing, and her grown up outfit.
“Why are you allowing them to wear make-up and look like mini adults??” one wrote.
“They’re so young and small and so covered in make-up that you’re making them both look like adult ‘little people’ !” another added.
“What’s the matter with you?”
“Sorry but why are you speeding up their childhood so fast?” a third questioned.
“Those clothes and make-up can be worn the rest of their life but never ever will be the child again.”
“Please let them stay as children – this is far too young,” another agreed.
“Little women all dolled up,” someone else said.
As another called it “inappropriate on lots of levels”.
“As they get older they will undoubtedly become more and more aware of make up culture.
“It seems very strange to me to encourage/allow/your ten year old daughter to wear make-up like a 15 year old.
“She’s still in primary school for goodness’ sake.
“They have YEARS ahead of them to head to Sephora… why start now??”
“Let them be children. Take the false nails off and the make-up,” someone else agreed.
However, others defended Tamara and Fifi, insisting the little girl was just having some fun with make-up.
“They are having a treat! Pipe down,” one wrote.
“All little girls want to look grown up little bit of make-up, just fun for them, they look lovely,” another added.
“I would understand your point if it was all the time but on the other hand what harm is it doing I mean… really?!” a third asked.
“Oh please. My friend’s little girl is four and is obsessed with make-up and dressing up…. It’s fun,” someone else wrote.
“It’s being creative. It’s make believe.”
While another agreed said: “So judgemental, what business is it of yours, her parent allowed it for an occasion, so what, there is no harm being done here.
“It’s a lovely picture of two young girls enjoying life and having fun.”
