My lashes got so long and curly from using a growth serum – I was thrilled until a side effect made me give it up
A GLAMOROUS woman has been wowed by a serum that curled her eyelashes while also stimulating growth.
She tried the product after struggling to find a beauty salon to attach lash extensions in the way that she liked.
She shared her opinion of RevitaLash’s growth serum in a post on Reddit’s Beauty forum using the handle u/analslapchop.
She shared photos of her lashes before using the product, four weeks, eight weeks, and 12 weeks after starting.
“I have a lot more length and curl,” she said.
“There is also a bit of volume, but I think that’s due to me having more lash retention.
“I have been super happy with this product! I will continue using it.
“When I wear mascara, my lashes brush my eyelid. I don’t have to curl them.
“I used to have lash extensions before and had to find a new girl, and I didn’t like how she was doing them so I decided to stop altogether and try this serum.
“I’m so happy with it!”

According to the manufacturer, “dramatic-looking” eyelashes are achieved by applying a thin line of the serum to clean, dry upper eyelashes once a day.
Despite the initial excitement, the beauty guru said in an update posted on Reddit that she stopped using the serum after around 16 weeks.
“I had redness/purple on my lashline that just didn’t look very attractive,” she said.
“Yes, the lashes looked great, however, they almost got TOO long and unruly as well.
“Several hairs started losing shape and were just growing sideways, crimped, straight, etc.
“I had to attempt to curl the unruly ones and it wasn’t working very well lol.
“Anyways, after I ceased use, my lashes naturally went back to their normal state within 1-2 months.”
