Woman gets stained lino floor sparkling new using Mrs Hinch’s favourite £1 cleaning product
SINCE Mrs Hinch catapulted to social media fame in 2018, the cleaning influencer has changed the way we tidy our homes thanks to her easy and purse-friendly tips.
First there was the fabric softener on door frames hack followed by her using Zoflora as air freshener – but the most important thing we have Mrs Hinch to thank for is introducing us to The Pink Stuff.
The £1 multipurpose cleaning paste can be used on everything from grimy oven doors to burnt and battered pots – and now one Mrs Hinch fan has even used it to transform her dirt-stained floors.
Cleaning fanatic Chloe posted on the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It to rave about the miracle-working paste which has made her lino flooring look as good as new.
Having recently moved into her dad’s old house, Chloe told Fabulous Digital that the floor in her hallway is at least 15 years old and looked “grainy” from where his dogs had trodden dirt all over it.
Chloe said: “It took me about an hour to clean, I just used a blue dish cloth and scooped the paste onto the floor and rubbed it in circular motions.

After she was done scrubbing, Chloe then mopped the floor with two neat capsules of Zoflora – but if you’re doing this at home, it’s important not to do this step when your pets are in the house as the chemicals in the disinfectant can be poisonous to animals.
Like many Mrs Hinch fans, Chloe hadn’t used the Pink Stuff before but decided to give it a go after coming across other success stories on the Facebook group and Instagram.
She added: “I was completely shocked! The floor is like brand new.”

Unsurprisingly, other members of the group were also blown away with the results.
One raved: “Oh wow this is amazing! Never thought of using it on the floors – I’ll give it a go!”
Another added: “Got this yesterday and I’ve been awake since 6:30am thinking about scrubbing my kitchen floor. The excitement is real.”
A third gushed: “I need this in my life!!”
