Premier League Darts 2024 prize money: How much money is on offer for Luke Littler and Co?
PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS is back with former world champ Michael Smith winning on opening night last week.
Dutch legend Michael van Gerwen has won the last two tournaments – and a record SEVEN in total – successfully defending his 2022 crown by beating Gerwyn Price 11-5 in the 2023 edition.
Michael van Gerwen has won the Premier League Darts a record SEVEN times – in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023[/caption]And as a result, the darts icon boosted his bank account by a staggering £275,000.
However, Van Gerwen is set to have a lot more competition this time, especially with the likes of teenage sensation Luke Littler announcing himself on the big stage after a phenomenal debut at the World Championships.
But what is the prize money for the winners of this ionic competition?

The total prize money is a huge sum of £1million – the same as the 2023 tournament.
And there is a winner bonus per weekly tournament of £10,000 for players to fight for.

When is the Premier League Darts 2024?
The Premier League Darts 2024 is now underway having started on Thursday, February 1.
Michael Smith won night one to take home £10,000.
And the competition will conclude on Thursday, May 23 at the O2 in London.
It is an eight-player tournament which will be contested over 17 consecutive weeks.

Speaking after night one, Smith hailed the impact Luke Littler has had on the darts world in the last six weeks.
He said: “Everyone has fallen in love with him since the Worlds.
“I don’t think anyone has followed anyone as much as they have Luke Littler. It’s even bigger than Phil Taylor.
“He has won 16 world titles. Luke is the most popular thing.
“Listen, I’m going to ride the wave because if everyone keeps following, the sponsors keep coming in, the prize money keeps coming up for us lads.
“He can do all the hard work, he can do all the press he wants, and we get paid at the end of the day!”
