Piers Morgan and Eddie Hearn in Twitter row as Joshua promoter asks for more ‘hope and positivity’ over coronavirus
PIERS MORGAN and Eddie Hearn were involved in a Twitter spat after Anthony Joshua’s promoter called for more “hope and positivity” in coverage of coronavirus.
Good Morning Britain host Piers has been holding government ministers to account during the global pandemic crisis, but his fiery techniques have been dividing audiences.

The Sun Online previously revealed that the 55-year-old’s political grillings have sparked 1,645 complaints to Ofcom in just five days.
And Hearn was one of his critiques after the Matchroom promoter revealed he is “sick and tired” of Morgan focusing on the bad news around the coronavirus pandemic.
He told iFL TV: “I am so sick and tired of people… we all know it has been horrendous for the country.
“People have lost loved ones, the NHS has done an incredible job but when there’s good news don’t you think we should let people know about it.
“When there’s hope don’t you think we should let them know about it?
“I know probably two people who know people and there’s been people hanging themselves on their road in the last week.
“The only hope we have is possible good news that we will return to normal, that businesses will bounce back.
He doesn’t even seem to want to publicise or dramatise good news with the same parity as the bad news.

“People are saying you’re just digging Piers Morgan out… well kind of but he doesn’t even seem to want to publicise or dramatise good news with the same parity as the bad news.
“It’s almost like ‘Oh I’m questioning…’ You’ve got to question the government, you have got to question authority.
“But we are all in this together and it is not helping is it?
“You have got to at least try to motivate people and give them hope to bounce back.
“I have said in so many interviews before, the mental health side of this is going to cause the same kind of problems and same kind of deaths as the disease itself.”
Morgan replied to Hearn on Twitter, writing: “We do actually report many positive stories every day on @GMB about this crisis – as well as challenge the Govt.
