Ray scores 34 for Kennesaw St, helps Al Skinner get 400 wins
KENNESAW, Ga. — Kendrick Ray hit seven 3-pointers and scored 34 and Kennesaw State coach Al Skinner earned his 400th career win in a 68-60 win over North Carolina A&T on Thursday.
Ray was 7 of 12 behind the arc, 11 of 24 overall, to finish one back of his career-high in his fourth 30-point game of the season and sixth of his career.
The Owls (4-9) didn’t make a basket in the last 2:36 but the Aggies were just 1 of 9 after Sam Hunt’s 3-pointer cut the Owls’ lead to 54-53 with 6:21 to play.
