Grayson wins Georgia Class 7-A title in overtime
ATLANTA — Will Van Pamelen missed two extra points, but kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime to give No. 1-ranked Grayson a 23-20 win over No. 2 Roswell in the Georgia High School Association’s Class AAAAAAA championship Saturday at the Georgia Dome.
Roswell had a chance to tie the game in overtime, but Turner Barckhoff missed a 32-yard field goal wide to the right.
Grayson (14-1) won its second state championship.
