Magnolia man admits killing college football player
(AP) — A Magnolia man has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree murder in the shooting death of a Southern Arkansas University football player.
Timothy Jamarcus Johnson of Camden was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Wayne Alton Payton II of McNeill during the same incident and has since pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of terroristic threatening.
