Authorities: Washington inmate impales leg while fleeing
SEATTLE (AP) — Authorities say a jail inmate is back in custody after he bolted from law enforcement in downtown Seattle and then impaled his thigh on a fence while running away.
King County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Cindi West says detectives checked the man out of jail Friday to do an interview with them in a county administration building.
