Woman critically injured when struck by a car in Novato
Officers arrived on scene incident at the intersection of S. Novato Boulevard and Lark Court around 8 a.m., said Novato police spokesman Sgt. Eric Riddell.
Investigators learned the driver, identified only as a 17-year-old “juvenile male,” was heading north on S. Novato Boulevard when he struck the pedestrian, who was walking east across the boulevard in a crosswalk.
The driver stopped as soon as he hit the woman and was cooperating with officers, Riddell said.
