Consumer Reports said Tuesday it no longer recommends the Tesla Model S, citing “an array of detailed and complicated maladies” from 1,400 owners in its annual auto survey.
The magazine still says the sporty electric Model S is the “best performing car we’ve ever tested.”

The U.S. Transportation Department is creating a task force to recommend how to keep tabs on the swelling number of private drone operators.
According to Bloomberg, federal administrators are hoping to beat the holiday sales rush, with Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx asking the task force to complete its work by Nov. 20 and finalize the requirement before Christmas.
