Brush fire in Oakland Hills extinguished
Fire crews extinguished a vegetation fire that had been threatening structures in the Oakland hills Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The first reports of the blaze came in just after 3 p.m. The fire, which burned approximately three-quarters of an acre to an acre of vegetation across the street from Kimberlin Heights Drive, did not damage any homes or cause any injuries, said Battalion Chief Coy Justice of the Oakland Fire Department.
