A cybersecurity intelligence company says a suspected Chinese state-sponsored hacking group has intensified attacks on Taiwanese organizations, particularly those in sectors such as the government, education and technology. In a report released on Monday, Recorded Future says the hackers, tracked as RedJuliett, have attacked 24 organizations in Taiwan, Laos, Kenya and Rwanda. A Wisconsin judge is expected to consider whether to allow people with disabilities to vote electronically from home in the swing state this fall. Disability Rights Wisconsin, the League of Women Voters and four disabled people filed a lawsuit in April demanding disabled people be allowed to cast absentee ballots electronically from home. A 36-year-old Philadelphia man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that critically wounded a police officer after a traffic stop. Police said Sunday that Ramon Rodriguez Vazquez also faces charges that include aggravated assault and home invasion. Officials said officers stopped a car carrying four people shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday in Kensington in northeast Philadelphia. California residents will be able to watch Gov. Gavin Newsom’s State of the State address online this week. His office says that after sending the text of the address to the state Legislature Tuesday morning, Newsom will record the speech on video. It will be available to stream on YouTube, Facebook, X and on the governor's website. UPS is selling its freight-brokerage business for less than it paid for the business back in 2015. UPS said Sunday it agreed to sell its Coyote Logistics division to RXO for just over $1 billion. UPS CEO Carol Tome says the sale will help her company focus on its core package-delivery business. Freight brokers are middlemen between shippers and carriers such as UPS. RXO is a freight broker based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it says it will nearly double in annual revenue by buying Coyote from UPS.

The National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index decreased by 2 points in May, dropping from 45 to 43.

Authorities say three Alabama men who went for an evening swim soon after arriving at a Florida Panhandle beach were caught in a rip current and died. The deaths Friday evening were the latest in a rash of Florida fatalities, including the drowning deaths of a Pennsylvania couple elsewhere in the state. The Bay County Sheriff's Office said in an online post that the three Birmingham, Alabama, men encountered a rip current soon after going into the water.
