Rebel Wilson Thanks Fans After Winning Defamation Lawsuit Against Bauer Media
Rebel Wilson was in a thankful mood on Thursday, after prevailing in a defamation lawsuit she’d filed against Australian publisher Bauer Media.
Wilson filed suit against Bauer, publisher of Australian magazines such as Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day and OK!, over a series of articles that she alleged portrayed her as a serial liar.
Sydney native Wilson said that her reputation had been damaged by articles printed in 2015, which accused the actress of using a fake name and lying about her age and upbringing in Australia.
