Pittsburgh International Airport to tout new flights, jobs
IMPERIAL, Pa. (AP) — Pittsburgh International Airport officials plan to announce new nonstop destinations and say the new flights will also add jobs to the region.
They've called a news conference for Thursday morning to announce the additions.
The airport has added 14 nonstop destinations in the last 13 months, meaning the airport now serves 53 destinations with nonstop flights.
Officials haven't said how many, or what kind, of jobs will be added when the new flights are announced. The airline involved has also not been publicly identified.
